Volleyball is a game in which opposing teams of players hit a ball forward over a high net with their hands without letting it touch the ground on their own side.
The game volleyball is played on a court 18 meter / 9 meter and it is divided into two equal parts by a net at a height of 2.24 meter for students under 16 years of age. This game is played between two teams. Each team consists of only six players. The purpose of the game is to try to ground the ball in the opponents court and to prevent them doing the same or to force the opponents into making errors. The skills such as serving, digging, volleying, spiking, blocking etc is used to fulfill his purpose.
Point are only scored by service team when the receiving team loses the volley. It the same error is done by the serving team, the right to serve the ball changes. At the same time, the new serving team rotates the position of its players by one place in a clockwise direction. The game is won by the team which score is 15 points first. If both teams have scored 14 points each, the winner will be the first team to gain a 2 points lead.
